KLARTRAUM [Lucidflow, Soma, Bedrock, Darkroom Dubs] played live at fabric London UK, Circoloco @ DC10 Ibiza, Tresor Berlin Germany, Burning Man, Lightning In a Bottle USA, Kazantip UA, Brown Alley Melbourne Australia, Shanti Goa India…
Formed in Berlin in 2006 by Nadja Lind and Helmut Ebritsch, Klartraum is an electronic music duo defined by a deeply intuitive, fully improvised approach to creation. Every track begins from silence and unfolds in real time, where sound design, composition, arrangement, mixing, and mastering merge into a single uninterrupted process using two synchronized workstations.
This method preserves immediacy, coherence, and presence, allowing each piece to emerge as a complete, organic statement in one flow.
This live-act ethos defines Klartraum on stage. Their performances are not reproductions of finished material, but living processes – original music composed, deconstructed, and reshaped in the moment. Where a DJ curates and blends pre-recorded tracks, Klartraum performs their own music live, balancing precision, risk, and openness through synchronized production systems.
Klartraum stands for high-quality, multi-layered electronic music that translates equally powerfully in the studio and in live contexts worldwide. Their work is widely appreciated not only for its sonic depth and clarity, but also for its strong emotional resonance and often described healing quality, a response consistently echoed by listeners over many years.
This depth is rooted in a lifelong engagement with consciousness research. Klartraum’s artistic language is shaped by the teachings and models of Stephen Wolinsky, whose work on quantum psychology, awareness, identity structures, and void states forms a central foundation, alongside the presence-based consciousness approach of Eckhart Tolle and the neuroscience-oriented mind-body research of Joe Dispenza. A core pillar of their work is Voice Dialogue, practiced intensively over many years following the original framework developed by Hal and Sidra Stone, offering a precise, experiential understanding of sub-personalities, awareness, and integration. This foundation is further deepened through long-term participation in workshops and experimental group settings dedicated to perception, embodiment, and inner architecture.
Klartraum’s ongoing journey of artistic, personal, and spiritual exploration is reflected in their album titles, including Evolution, Secret Moon, Enneagram, Void Universes, Manifestation, Liquid Dreams I & II, and Mind Craft.
