While driving, continually progressive, it lives on the dreamy side of the aural spectrum, casting dappled sunlight on the dancefloor rather than thunderstorms and concrete. A deliciously epic 4 tracker: Aaron, Spiral Dynamics, Indian Spirit and The Void

The story goes that Nadja Lind & Helmut Ebritsch were sat at the breakfast table of their hotel in the Ukraine last summer, after having performed their Klartraum live set at the world renowned Kazantip festival when they came up with this track and the concept for the release. The song ‘Kazandub’ is essentially an instrumental electronic ode to an incredible festival and the people…

Where the Klartraum original swells up and absorbs you, Gruenbox’ remix catches you on a high and slams you straight into the thick of the action. With horns that are half locomotive and half ancient the track is both mechanical and tribal. Propelled by frenzied cow bell bashing it makes for an unhinged dance floor work out. Nadja reimagines the Klartraum work with a typically spacious, smooth piece of industrial techno. The track’s devils are in the details, tiny pulses build into a lurching, kaleidoscopic rhythm, peppering the bleak soundscape with flecks of colour while allowing the drums to pummel mercilessly beneath.

Klartraum’s Push Yourself EP is unashamedly rough around the edges. This raw, grimey edge sees a trio of basement anthems drop on the pair’s own Lucidflow imprint. Full of precision engineering and minute details the EP reflects a never ending Berlin afterhours session….

‘Beyond Illusion’ features tracks from Helmut and Nadja under their Klartraum guise. Nadja also teams up with good friend The Ascent, as well as providing one of her very own solo productions.
‘Beyond Illusion’ sees Helmut and Nadja create a weirdly wonderful, jackin’ soundtrack, interwoven with a certain gallic flavour and charm.
‘See Beyond’ finds Nadja ploughing the solo trail in beautifully mesmeric style. Deeper than deep, she matches a throbbing bassline, rebounding synths and whispered vocal.
On ‘Get To Real’ Nadja teams up with The Ascent. One half of Stil Vor Talent act ‘AKA AKA’, owner of Burlesque Musique and promoter of ‘Burleque Nights’ at Arena Club in Berlin. Matching a warm, popping bassline, warm rhodes keys and vocal drops, Nadja and The Ascent produce a delicious addition to the EP.

Without doubt their most emotional work to date, ‘Inner Sky’ features four cuts of Klartraum beauty. The superbly deep and melodic dreamscapes of ‘Growth’ and ‘Inner Sky’, are matched with twisted and dubby touches of ‘Essential Qualities’ and ‘Dissociation’.
Klartraum and Lucidflow are flourishing right now, and with exciting projects and releases on the horizon, are an act and a label to keep a close eye on.

‘Pain Relief’ is an epic 15min trip. Deep and beautiful, it flows effortlessly throughout and showcases Nadja and Helmut’s supreme talent for creating the most inspiring of soundscapes. For such a fantastic original, it was only right to draft in some esteemed remix talent. First up are the Scottish duo and Klartraum fans, Silicone Soul. Having signed a release to their Darkroom Dubs imprint and had them remix an album track, this was always going to be a perfect fit.
Silicone Soul keep the drama of the original, whilst adding a driving kick. Still with an expansive feel, this is sure to find favour with many.
Ocean Gaya spent much of his life skippering ships and sailing the world’s oceans. Since that time he has used those influences to create beautiful sun drenched music for labels such as Plastic City. Here he brings new meaning to ‘Pain Relief’.
Rounding out the package, and delivering some tough, industrial flavour is UK legend Gez Varley, aka G-Man. The darker touch is a fitting closure to a superb package.

With this release Nadja & Helmut show their darker and harder techno side of their project Klartraum. As always Klartraum creates a unique flow of sounds and they include samples and sounds out of their personal history.

After their big success with the first lucidflow release All Dimensions, klartraum is back. They spawned huge support by major djs like : Josh Wink, Steve Bug, Luciano, Silicone Soul, DJ Hell . This time they present Existence with 4 tracks that show deepness combined with floor-filling grooves.

Today’s debut release comes from the label heads under their ‘Klartraum’ guise. Having teamed up back in 2006, the pair have been creating music together, mutually influenced but their personalities and personal growth. As a live act they have played many of Germany’s finest club nights and festivals.
